I’m leaving for Paris in a couple of hours… Everyone else is leaving for their own destinations. It’s been fun!

This gives some idea about the size of the theater complex at Ephesus. You can start to understand why Roman authorities were concerned about the activities of Paul when you consider the fact that he started preaching to massive crowds in this theater. This visual gives a bit of scale to the size, scope, and impact of Christian teaching in the Roman Empire. It also gives a bit of scope and scale to the Romans as engineers.
